- BAMC Hematology/Oncology Service Will Begin Relocating to Wilford Hall Medical Center (WHMC), Effective noon 25 September 2007, Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) Hematology/Oncology Services will be moving to WHMC ward 6D to merge with the WHMC hematology/oncology clinic and create the fully integrated SAMMC Hematology/Oncology Service. After completion of renovation/reconstruction at BAMC, all Hematology/Oncology services will return to BAMC sometime prior to 2011. http://www.whmc.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123067448
